WHAT WE PREFER
Whenever practical, MAZEVUE begins with primary and authoritative material, including:
- Government and regulator guidance
- Statutes and official public documents
- Provider terms and published policies
- Payment-network and financial documentation
- First-party product or service information
- Directly inspectable records and technical documentation
Secondary reporting may provide context, but it should not quietly replace a more authoritative available source.
HOW CLAIMS ARE HANDLED
Material factual claims should be traceable to supporting evidence.
MAZEVUE distinguishes among:
- Established facts
- Provider-specific rules
- Jurisdiction-specific requirements
- Reasonable analysis
- Clearly labeled opinion
- Fictional composites used for explanation
- Matters that remain unresolved
A possibility is not presented as proof. A delay is not automatically misconduct. A mechanism that explains one outcome is not treated as a universal rule.
NAMED COMPANIES
A company may be named when its public documentation provides a useful example or when its role is directly relevant to the subject.
Being named does not imply sponsorship, endorsement, wrongdoing or a commercial relationship. Any material relationship affecting the discussion must be disclosed separately.
DATES, UPDATES AND LIMITATIONS
Important articles should identify publication, update or source-review dates when appropriate.
Travel policies, commercial terms, laws and payment practices can change. Readers should check the current terms that apply to their own booking, provider, payment method and jurisdiction.
MAZEVUE provides general education—not individualized legal or financial advice.
CORRECTIONS
When a material factual error is confirmed, MAZEVUE should correct it clearly and, when appropriate, leave a visible note explaining what changed.
The Corrections page explains the standard and will provide the approved reporting channel before public publication.
