THE SHARE SIDE OF TRAVEL™

THE POSSIBILITY ATLAS™

The location-flexible professional service

The sea was outside his window. The unanswered client question was inside it.

An imagined human possibility.

Andrés had imagined working from anywhere as a photograph.

A laptop. A view. Very little else.

Now the internet had dropped, a supplier response was late and the café downstairs was preparing to close.

The view remained excellent.

It was not answering the question.

He had approached travel planning carefully: learning, checking the requirements for his role, defining what he could offer and when he would be available.

He liked the possibility of living nearer his father while serving clients elsewhere.

He had also learned that distance did not remove responsibility.

A client needed clarity about a changed arrival. Andrés had promised an update by a particular time, not a result he couldn't control.

He used his backup connection, checked the records and contacted the supplier again.

When he could confirm part of the answer, he sent that part, along with what was still pending.

His father knocked at the door holding two takeaway coffees.

“Busy?”

“For a little longer.”

The coffees went on the table.

The supplier replied. Andrés reviewed the change, explained the options and recorded the client's choice through the proper process.

He set the next availability time, closed the files and checked that private details were put away.

His father was still downstairs.

They walked along the waterfront as the fishing boats returned.

Andrés listened to a story about one of the men on the pier. His father told it slowly, stopping to greet two people and argue affectionately with a third.

This was the part the laptop photograph had missed.

Not endless leisure. Not work disappearing.

The chance to arrange a working day responsibly enough that this walk could fit inside it.

At the café, his father ordered another coffee.

“Tomorrow?”

Andrés checked the time he had already reserved.

“Tomorrow.”
